Oh man, I hate that commercial. Also notice he only lives in one, maybe two of those places.
It’s probably true that this fellow sweats pretense, but d-bag of the year? That not only seems harsh, but possibly indicative of failure to do real digging for a better candidate - even one from popular culture.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed this line:
“You just hole up in your old bedroom and read Thomas Pynchon until it’s time to head back to Delaware for another week of class.”
I am reminded of a license plate on a Hummer I saw parked at a Mo’nique performance in Baltimore: “RUH8N”
This guy is definitely H8N.
